What tune do I need?

This is all very dependent. The easiest way to know is by bringing your equipment in-store and our staff will assess and advise what is needed. Alternatively check out our tuning page to see the difference between tunes and gauge roughly what you need.

How long will it take?

We strive to complete all tuning overnight. Our latest dropoff for overnight service is 6pm although some nights we may cut off earlier due to high volume.

Where is your entrance?

Our entrance is just inside the Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel. Once you enter through the first sliding doors of the hotel our door is on the right.

Can I leave my equipment with you for an extended period of time before picking up?

Yes & No. Due to spacing we are only able to hold a small amount but are generally able to accomodate. This is something we offer mainly to those who live in Vancouver and wont be coming back for 2 weeks ect. Anything that is in for overnight tuning must be picked up on the date specified on your slip. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $10 a day. This charge is due to many people leaving their equiptment with us for days on end resulting in us having to turn away tuning due to lack of space. Even if the weather does not pan out how you wished you are still expected to collect your equiptment.

Can you mount ski bindings?

No. We unfortunately do not have the equipment or the qualifications to mount ski bindings. Most shops in town that retail skis and bindings should be able to assist.

Will you call me when my equipment is ready for pickup?

No. Pickup dates can be found on the slip given to you at drop off. All equipment is ready to be picked up when we open at 8am.

Can someone else pick up my equipment for me?

Yes, as long as whoever picks up has the yellow slip given at the time of drop off, or a photo of the slip we will allow them to collect it for you. Please note we do not take payment until pickup so they will also have to make payment for the service done.

Do you sell P-Tex?

No.

Policy and Waiver

I hereby authorize the above repairs or servicing to be done on the equipment listed hereon, by the ski shop, Underground Tuning, and agree to pay charges for same listed hereon. I am aware that skiing can be hazardous in certain conditions regardless of the safety implemented by Underground Tuning and its employees, and the manufacturers of the equipment listed hereon. I rely solely on my own judgment that the equipment will be rendered fit for the purpose for which it is required and I acknowledge that there are no representations, warranties, or conditions express or implied, statutory or otherwise, other than herein contained. I hereby release Underground Tuning and/or its employees from any liability and/or responsibility for accidents or injuries to myself or other persons arising from the repairing and servicing of the equipment listed hereon. I hereby accept that Underground Tuning may contact me by phone or email for marketing purposes. I give Underground Tuning permission to use black P-Tex on my equipment. I understand there is no guarntee with repairs or P-Tex work done to my equipment.
